1. Information we collect
Account information. If you register, we receive your name, email address, login credentials, account status, user type, and an optional profile image.
Content and support information. We process comments, reports, feedback, password-reset requests, and other information you choose to submit.
App, device, and diagnostic information. We may process IP address, app version, package and signing-certificate information, timestamps, request nonces, user agent, operating-system or device characteristics, network status, crash or error details, and security signals such as emulator, root, or private-DNS status. The app uses a one-way-derived device identifier to support ad pacing, playback sessions, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Playback and advertising information. We process content and server selections, playback-session status, ad requests and interactions, rewarded-ad verification callbacks, transaction identifiers, reward details, and advertising identifiers made available by the device or advertising SDK.
Notification and analytics information. Firebase and OneSignal may process notification tokens, delivery and interaction information, app-instance identifiers, and analytics events, subject to your device permissions and their settings.
2. How we use information
- Provide accounts, content discovery, playback, comments, reports, notifications, and support.
- Verify rewarded ads, apply frequency limits, and grant eligible playback access.
- Authenticate requests, detect abuse, protect the Service, and enforce app-version requirements.
- Diagnose failures, measure performance, understand feature usage, and improve reliability.
- Display and measure advertising and comply with legal or platform obligations.
4. Retention and security
Account information is generally retained while your account remains active. Comments and reports are retained as needed to provide and moderate the Service. Security, playback, advertising-verification, and diagnostic records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for their operational, fraud-prevention, legal, and troubleshooting purposes. Provider-controlled information is retained under each provider’s policies.
We use measures such as encrypted network transport, access controls, request signing, limited session lifetimes, and monitoring. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
5. Your choices and account deletion
- You can review your account details through the user dashboard.
- You can permanently delete your account from the dashboard. Deletion removes the account, profile image, comments, and associated reports from BitzMedia’s database.
- You can control notification permission through Android settings.
- You can reset or limit the device advertising identifier and adjust available ad-privacy choices through Android or Google consent settings.
- You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights.
Account deletion: sign in at https://app.bitzmedia.xyz/user/login, open “Delete account,” enter your current password, and type DELETE.
6. External content and international processing
The Service may open or embed content supplied by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, where privacy laws may differ, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.
7. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request its removal.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated date.
